Advice on Clothing for your Photoshoot

Clothing can make a big difference to the look of your photographs. That is why it is important to think about what you would like to wear prior to your photoshoot. For families I would recommend wearing matching, neutral or similar colours if possible as it looks nice on the eye especially when there are several people on one photograph. Classic jeans and plain shirts look nice. I would avoid stripes and loud patterns if possible.

Small babies are often happiest with just their nappy on which can be covered with one of my blankets. If you would like them to wear clothes then I would advise something not too warm and preferably without a collar as it can get in the way and they like to chew on it!

Small children can wear whatever you feel suits their personality however bare feet looks nice with babies and young children, particularly if they are sitting on the floor, as you often see the bottom of the shoe which doesn’t look so good.
